Africa Solutions Centre bridges the gap between academic learning and real-world productive capacity, building market-ready agribusiness entrepreneurs through hands-on enterprise development.
Africa Solutions Centre (ASC) is a not-for-profit company dedicated to tackling youth unemployment through structured enterprise development and practical industrial training.
Founded in 2009 after founder Mr. Mwirigi observed the transformative power of self-sustaining enterprise at a local children's home, ASC has since built a structured, institution-level approach to turning graduates into capable agribusiness entrepreneurs.

To empower young people by creating self-sustaining opportunities through practical industry training and enterprise development, thereby addressing youth unemployment and contributing to sustainable economic growth.
To develop local, sustainable solutions to everyday challenges by fostering an entrepreneurial mindset among youth, enabling them to become enterprise developers and active participants in Africa's economic transformation.
Agriculture is ASC's institutional backbone. Each track builds technically grounded, commercially oriented entrepreneurs.

Development of certified organic farms producing high-quality export produce for regional and international markets. Participants are trained in compliance, quality assurance, and export logistics.
Implementation of best-practice dairy management systems to maximise production efficiency, milk quality, and enterprise profitability. Participants develop operational and business management capability.
Establishment of environmentally responsible poultry operations. Enterprise development focuses on scaling from small-unit operations to commercially viable production volumes.
Controlled-environment production of high-value horticultural crops, with a focus on yield optimisation, post-harvest handling, and market-ready packaging for domestic and export channels.
Integration of on-farm and off-farm value addition processes (packaging, preservation, and processing) to capture greater margins and improve product shelf life and marketability.
The programme is intentionally designed as a transition pathway, not merely skills development. Placement is not the goal: enterprise creation is.
A coherent pathway from training through production to full commercial sustainability.
Practical, enterprise-focused training that mirrors industrial production standards. Participants gain technical proficiency in agribusiness operations, financial management, and supply chain basics.
Defined value chains, value addition processes, and production protocols that enable graduates to replicate and scale operations. ASC structures incubation mechanisms to support early-stage enterprise viability.
Structured pathways to market access, revenue generation, and long-term commercial sustainability. Participants are guided through pricing strategies, buyer linkages, and growth roadmaps.
ASC's proven 18-month model expands across adjacent sectors, market-driven and demand-responsive to Kenya's evolving economy.
